Financial Education:
Financial Education Seminars

For employees of any age

LifeSpan’s Financial Planning I and II programs are timely in content, comprehensive in scope and designed to build self-reliance. They provide employees with a basic understanding of financial planning, asset classes and investing.

Employees today are expected to take a more active role in their own financial planning, yet are often bombarded with too much information. By trimming away the excess and focusing on the basics, these programs help relieve uncertainty and give participants a more solid foundation on which to base decisions.

Part I – Basic Principles

Addresses:

• Cash planning and budgeting – participants learn how to control cash outgo and improve their investing potential.

• Hands-on analysis – reveals how stocks, bonds and cash work and the role they serve in investment strategy.

• Analytical tools – provides the means to assess personal needs in the areas of risk tolerance, current assets, debt and investment objectives.

Part II – Intermediate Financial Planning and Investments

Addresses the needs of employees whose financial experience is more advanced. Conducted as a half- or one-day seminar, it focuses in more detail on asset classes and the importance of balance and diversification in one’s investment strategy. This seminar is often attached to an overview of an organization’s Defined Contribution Plan so that attendees gain a far more comprehensive view of financial planning.
